•   How does the registration of draft horses happen ?
The pedigree or registration number has two parts separated by a front slash mark (e.g. 94/226). The first part refers to the year of birth (e.g. 94-4=90, born in 1990) and since 2000 it ís the year of birth (e.g. 2000/226). The second number is simply the order in which the registration application was received. Colts get even second numbers and fillies get odd second numbers.
