Commissions

Beside the general board four commissions where formed which provide the general board with recommendations concerning their work area. All initiatives of these commissions are presented to the board of directors and only when the board agrees, they can be worked out as final proposals. In these commissions there's also someone established from the board, but it are the members of the FBBD who form the base.

• Commission Public Relations
The objective of the pr-commission is to create a wide announcement of the Belgian draft horse in Belgium and the foreign countries and to encourage the trade activities, which are now at a very low level.

• Technical Commission
The technical commission can discuss all aspects about breeding, rules for the competitions and admission of stallions.

• Jury-training Commission
In the autumn 2004 a course "training for jury-members" was organized. The candidates who succeed for the theoretical and practical examination will be a "recruiting-reserve" of which each Flemish provincial association can select new jury members.

• Commission of Editors
The main task of the commission of editors to look after the periodical (4 times a year) for all members of the KMBT.
